Kelly Jacobsson is highly proactive, driven and focused. He goes to the ends of the earth to make sure his customers get the best deal and are completely satisfied. He is particularly recognized for his strong work ethic, fervent and goal-oriented approach.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Kelly considers himself analytical, inquisitive and passionate about learning new skills. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Herberger Business School at St. Cloud State University. His major was in Real Estate with an emphasis in Finance and Investments, while his minor was in Community Development. He also recently went on to pursue master’s degree at Crown College in Organizational Leadership.
Kelly worked as an Appraisal Analyst in Hennepin County for over 8 years where he led team of appraisers to perform field investigations and appraisals of residential property and ensure compliance with current statutory requirements for multiple municipalities, among other things. He was a lead residential appraiser for many cities, and he was responsible for annually valuing tens of thousands of properties, with thousands of appraisals completed. He also worked as a residential lender during the refinance era from 2006-2011.
Such a diverse and rich experience in real estate has helped him become quite learned and experienced in how the local market operates. He stays well educated on what’s for sale, observes market prices and applies a blend of his knowledge and experience to ascertain the best opportunities for the client. He ensures that the finalized deal is most suitable for the client’s individual requirements.
While he’s not working, he likes travelling, especially exploring the Great Smoky Mountains. He also likes to attend sporting events. Kelly enjoys family time and has been married for 13 years and has four children. His wife is a registered nurse at UTMC and also homeschools their children.
